Priyanka Mac is an artist interested in capturing the dynamics of color and texture. Her painting is influenced by her work within the fashion industry and has been exhibited in private and commercial venues.Her current focus is on the use of headphones. The headphones signify her love of music, sound, poetry and spoken word. She feels that people are consumed with talking and expressing rather than listening. People need to focus more on what is important and block out the noise of the world by metaphorically wearing headphones to focus on the importance of their objective.
Priyanka holds an MFA from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She lives and maintains a studio in Los Angeles, CA.
